Much of the content here involves editing website settings, theme code, and configuration files. These changes can break your site.
Blogger keeps no version history for themes. A bad save with no backup means your customisations are gone permanently. Misconfiguring robots.txt can de-index your entire blog. Changing a published permalink breaks the old URL with no automatic redirect.
Back up before every edit. Test on a spare site where you can. You are responsible for changes you make to your own site.
Accuracy
Everything here is tested on a live site before publication, and I correct errors when I find them or when readers report them.
That said, platforms change without announcement. Providers update documentation, settings paths, and behaviour without notifying anyone. Something accurate when published may be wrong six months later. Check the “last updated” date on any article, and email me if something has stopped working.
Where evidence is limited or credible sources disagree, I say so rather than picking the confident-sounding answer.
